It’s simple. Just come along to Jock Tamson’s Bairns and we’ll show you how it’s done.

Edinburgh Festival Fringe

This August, we’re bringing Jock Tamson’s Bairns back to Edinburgh with an extended, 180-minute version of the show, for three party nights at the beautifully opulent Ghillie Dhu.

Wednesday 21st of August, 19:00-22:00 (180 minutes)
Thursday 22nd of August, 19:00-22:00 (180 minutes)
Sunday 25th of August, 19:00-22:00 (180 minutes)

Tickets: FREE, but book in advance to guarantee entry.

Part drag, part interactive cabaret, Jock Tamson’s Bairns is a theatrical experience created by Civil Disobedience, which explores queer culture, growing up gay in the 1990s, and the bystander effect.

Set in an after-hours gay bar where the audience is invited to speak their mind, it mixes scripted elements of storytelling with live music performances and open space discussion. No topic is taboo, but a respect for your fellow humans is compulsory.
